Our four self-contained en-suite, spacious, rooms with lovely views of the countryside have comfortable super/kingsized beds and have been luxuriously furnished and well equipped to a very high standard to ensure that our guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Prepared walks and maps are provided of the local area to enjoy the breathtaking scenic country walking that starts as you step from the door. The area of Bretton itself is a designated site of Special Scentific Interest by English Nature with many footpaths crossing wild flower meadows, woodland areas and moorland. However if you are not feeling too energetic after a pleasant night in a lovely country pub just relax in one of the many seated areas in our beautiful landscaped garden and take in the open panorama. The breakfast menu which is predominantly organic produce offers lots of choice including tasty homemade vegetarian options. Homemade wholemeal and white bread is baked on the premises daily and we also adhere to the principles of 'PEAK DISTRICT CUISINE' and locally source the produce we use from local butchers, farmer's markets and Chatsworth House farm shop. Our fresh free range eggs are from a nearby farm. We also offer homemade preserves and a selection of freshly brewed teas and coffees.
